Cliniko Integration

This guide will walk you through the steps to generate a new API key within your Cliniko account.

Step 1: Open Your User Menu

Log in to your Cliniko account. In the bottom-left corner, click on your name to open the user menu.

Step 2: Go to "My info"

From the menu that pops up, select "My info".

Step 3: Enable API Key Creation

On the "My info" page, scroll down until you find the "API keys" section. Click the toggle switch to change it from "No" to "Yes".

Step 4: Save Your Changes

After switching the toggle to "Yes", scroll to the very bottom of the page and click the red "Update user" button to save this change.

Step 5: Confirm Security Check

Cliniko will ask for your password to confirm this important change. Enter your password into the field, and then click the "Update user" button.

Step 6: Manage Your API Keys

Once the page reloads, scroll back down to the "API keys" section. You will now see a new button. Click "Manage API keys".

Step 7: Add a New API Key

On the "API keys" page, click the "+ Add an API key" button, located in the top-right corner.

Step 8: Name and Create Your Key

Give your new API key a descriptive name so you remember what it's for (e.g., "Everbility Integration").

Once named, click the red "Create API key" button.

Step 9: Copy Your New Key

Cliniko will display your new API key one time. Copy this key now, as it will be hidden for security and you cannot retrieve it again. You will need to paste this key into your Everbility settings for Cliniko.
